MRPA Board of Directors Meetings

The MRPA Board of Directors is committed to maintaining strong and consistent communication with our members. MRPA Board of Directors meetings are open to members as observers. The Board meeting agenda will be posted on the MRPA website three business days preceding the meeting.

Members wishing to attend a Board meeting as observers should provide at least two business days advance written notice to MRPA staff and the MRPA Board President to assist with meeting logistics through the online meeting attendance form listed below for each meeting.

Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate attendance whether in-person or virtual participation. Depending on the designated meeting location, limited space may be available for in-person attendance.

A member forum will be included on each Board meeting agenda to provide members an opportunity to address the Board of Directors. Each member wishing to speak will be allotted a maximum of three minutes, with the total member forum limited to 15 minutes. Questions directed to the Board will not be answered immediately; however, whenever possible, all appropriate questions will be responded to in a timely and effective manner. Following the conclusion of the member forum, no additional member comments or questions will be accepted by the MRPA Board.

The Board may convene in executive session, closed to non-directors, to consider matters including, but not limited to: (1) personnel matters; (2) contract negotiations; (3) legal matters or matters subject to attorney-client privilege; (4) disciplinary actions or member conduct issues; and (5) confidential or sensitive business matters as determined by the Board.

These brief summaries will highlight key actions and decisions made by the Board, helping to keep you informed and engaged in the work we're doing on your behalf. We believe this added transparency will further strengthen the connection between MRPA and its members.
