Agency Membership
Benefits of Agency Membership:
Board and Commission Members
Agency member’s board and commission members are also enrolled as MRPA members.
Professional Member Discount
Professional members joining under an agency receive a discount and pay $195 per member instead of $325 per membership.
Option to Add Contributing Members
Having an agency membership allows organizations to add contributing members to their list. Contributing members pay $55 and must be either front-line staff, part-time or seasonal employees. They still receive MRPA communication and educational opportunities, but do not have voting privileges.
Agency membership is $525 plus $195 per professional membership, or $155 for the 11th member and up.

Professional Membership
Professional membership is $325 for the year. Membership is offered at a discounted rate of $155 for the remainder of 2026.

Corporate Membership
Benefits of Corporate Membership:
• Two mailing lists (sets of labels) or two e-mail blasts sent from the MRPA office
• Member discount for additional services
• Special exhibitor rates ($300 discount for MRPA Annual Conference Exhibit Hall booth compared to non-member rate)
• Listed in the quarterly Minnesota Recreation & Parks magazine mailed to nearly 900 members and allies and available online
• Listed in MRPA Buyer's Guide mailed to nearly 900 members and allies and available online (updated bi-annually).
• Receive quarterly magazine via mail and read online
• Receive member rates for advertising opportunities
• Logo, listing and link on MRPA’s Corporate Membership Directory
The annual Corporate Membership rate is: $625 from the month you join until the following month and year.

Retiree Membership
Retired MRPA members receive a complimentary membership which includes invitations to retiree events, a mailed copy of each Minnesota Recreation and Parks magazine, as well as email updates from the MRPA office. Student Membership
Student members are full-time graduate or undergraduate students pursuing a degree in parks, recreation or leisure services fields at any accredited university, community college or vocational school. Student membership is a great way to meet other students and parks and recreation professionals. Make valuable contact with those that can help support your career goals. Students are represented by one seat on the Board of Directors and may serve on committees.
Student Members receive:

• Section meeting and activity notices
• Reduced fees for MRPA State Conferences, Continuing Education Institutes, and workshops
