Minnesota USSSA Hall of Fame Benefit Golf Tournament
The 24th Annual Minnesota USSSA Hall of Fame Benefit Golf Tournament will be held on June 15, 2017 at the Victory Links Golf Course at the National Sports Center in Blaine. What could be better than spending a morning playing golf during the summer outside of softball? If you relish the idea of driving the links with your friends, you’ll be thrilled to find out about the upcoming Minnesota USSSA Hall of Fame Golf Tournament. In an effort to make this event bigger and better than in years past, Minnesota Recreation and Park Association (MRPA) and the United States Sports Specialty Association (USSSA) will be able to pair your love of golf with the socially responsible activity of helping raise money for the Minnesota USSSA Hall of Fame.

The event will be a great deal of fun for everyone involved, and Minnesota USSSA Hall of Fame will greatly benefit from the proceeds. You can register to play on your own, or you can put together a team of your friends, colleagues, and/or softball buddies. You’ll be able to enjoy a wonderful morning on the greens, while helping provide support for Minnesota USSSA Hall of Fame. To register, simply complete the enclosed form and mail it in along with your registration fee or register online at www.mnrpa.org If you’re interested in a sponsorship opportunity or making a door prize donation, please indicate your interest on the enclosed sponsorship form. You may reach me at 763-571-1305 x 106 or weinreis@mnrpa.org if I can answer any questions for you. I’m looking forward to seeing you at the tournament.

Hall of Fame
Minnesota USSSA honors certain individuals who have contributed to the Minnesota United States Slo-Pitch Softball program by electing them to the State’s Hall of Fame. This is considered the highest honor Minnesota’s USSSA can bestow on any individual. A person can only be elected into the Hall of Fame once.

Hall of Fame Committee
MRPA’s Recreational Sports Commission will appoint a seven-member committee to review nominations and vote on induction into the Hall of Fame. A two-thirds majority vote from this committee is necessary for Hall of Fame induction.

Nominating Procedure
A candidate for the Hall of Fame must be recommended to the Minnesota USSSA Slow-Pitch State Director.
