Programming Section

Professional Connections

The Programing Section sees the importance of staying involved with the colleges and universitites that offer Parks and Recreation as a program and major in the state of Minnesota. It is our goal to meet with students of the University of Minnesota, St. Cloud State, Winona State, and Minnesota State at Mankato each year. There are professional representatives from the Therapeutic, Aquatics, Facilities, Admnistration, and Programming sections that attend these sessions to give students a broad representation of information relating to the professional field of parks and recreation. During our time with students we field questions and provide information involving current trends and issues faced by recreation professionals.
