The Community Facilities Section is a resource for Community/Recreation Center development, operation and management.

Mission Statement: The MRPA Community Facilities Sections will endeavor to improve the operations and management of community/recreation centers through training and education, sharing of information and recognition of outstanding performance.

Our goal...to provide quality community/recreation centers to Minnesota (and surrounding) communities.

Our benefits...try not to re-invent the wheel. Join fellow professionals in promoting and improving community/recreation center management by discussing operational issues in a round table format.

We generally meet five times a year in community/recreational facilities throughout the state. Everyone is welcome!

Meetings generally begin at 10:00 a.m. with introductions, a tour of the facility and any updates from the board and subcommittees. Lunch is provided for a nominal fee and the rest of the meeting is spent discussing various topics. This section has become a great networking group!
